I have plenty to say about this! Uh. Don't use it. If you do use it, respond here to say if it works or not. :)
It works but it's ugly.
Works fine for me.
Extension manager thing says not compatible with 0.2.5. 20070205151905 xpsp2
Yet it works..........
Works for me, dude. The install.rdf says 0.2.*
standard. 6 stars
oops sry. wrong extension. Now i can't take my ratings back.
anyway... not bad! could be "pretty good" if it had features like the following: *animation(just like MinimizeToTray extension). *a birdie image figure(that announces the song and makes my day:), just like MinimizeToTray extension). *option to close on click or *option to define position. mainly because it obstructs fast access in my system-tray(on windows). *some kind of integration with system tray options(like context menu). ...thats all. not bad though
I like this extension, works good for me.
one mooooooo thing (in uncle's (from jackie chan adventures) voice) I would like to see an option for a global shortcut key for showing the popup.
a very nice extension. feature requests: ability to adjust location of notification window, ability to change appearance of notification window.
Actually this is pretty nice. Needs some more configurability, however it's a great start.
This doesn't seem to work with mp3 streams when the song changes, which is what I really want to use with an on screen display notifier. Any chance we'll see mp3 streaming support for this? The Growl extension on Mac OS X works great with mp3 streams and song changes, but when I use Songbird on Windows I'm looking for the same kind of love. :)
While trying to find out why songbird has been crashing lately exactly after 6 seconds of playback, I came across this extension. Either it was not installed automatically before, or I always un-ticked the box, but since I (accidentally) use this extension Songbird crashes on playback. When uninstalled Songbird plays fine again. I'd suggest not have it install automatically until it is resolved because it is unclear that an extension is the cause. Took me nearly two weeks to find out. :-) I've been seeing this on an OS X 10.4.10 PPC machine and at least the last 10 or 12 nightlies up to the most recent one, 20070715.
notifier doesn't show up over top of active window in windows XP
